Nice work with this, This actually generates a good bit of stress and anxiety trying to focus on many objectives at once, The eyeballs in the egg add a unsettling sense of being watched on top of that.

My only little nitpick is the introduction sequence starting into the game where I found I didn't know how to complete a task but in a way that Unknown makes it a lot more atmospheric cause you don't have clear instructions on what you should be doing and it forces you to adapt to your surroundings.

The Temperature system is also another little issue I found but this one could affect gameplay more, The temperature seems to make a rapid increase at random when the anomaly has begun it's early phase instantly spawning the eyeball and increasing it too 100% without warning but that's about it.

Overall excellent work.

hi, thank you for the review! i can't update this version since it has to be judged as is, but i will take your input into account for the next version.

i think a lot of the problem stems from the phone call- i tried to be vague with wording and ended up obscuring the ways the game works. the egg will, on occasion, change the temperature of the incubator in order to warm itself up. this was not explained well enough, and i think the audio queues for this may be too quiet to be easily noticeable.

i also added a mechanic where the temperature would change more rapidly when you were looking away- something that also likely made the game feel inconsistent while playing. i had very little time to playtest the game and some of the values may have ended up very skewed and/or unbalanced as a result. i'll take this into account when i update. thank you so much for the feedback!

[Madness Retaliation]

I used to love playing this game when I was younger and I remember why, definitely a fun Turn-Based game that represents Madness Combat both in Art-Style and the "madness" that ensues.

This is a pretty neat concept for a 2D Puzzle Game! It "possesses" some rather astounding level of creativity that isn't always apparent in these genre of games. Very well done!
